U.S. Little hope elections will improve situation in the country.

So long have American media and politicians been focused on November 2nd as a real date of change with big „CH“. But if U.S. voters didn't know what to do and the only thing they could do was to express anger and doubts, the current situation is not much different. Political map of Congress changed, as it was expected with Republicans getting control over the House. But what does it mean now? Are voters satisfied? Are politicians behaving more reasonable? Don't hope for much... at least not, if you look at results of recent ABC News/Yahoo! News poll. According to the study most of Americans voting for any of two parties are not expecting things will get better a! fter elections. 40 percent of respondents didn't expect any difference. 21 percent thought things were going wrong way after elections and only 34 percent suggested that results would push the country in the right direction. The poll showed kind of frustration with elections and current trend between Democrats and Republicans who got back on the horse. A situation called gridlock has appeared between them very clearly – the situation in which nobody wants to cooperate. It is significant to see how American policy has been polarizing – gradually, then suddenly. And for now there is no sign of will to leave these extreme positions – so far, Republicans have been publically trying to avoid meeting with the „embodiment“ of „evil“, President Barack Obama. Obama has become the only mascot of Democratic party. Yet, it is significant how entire policies and party strategies is focused on one person – or to speak frankly on removing of! this person, because it seems to be the only point of Republi! can prog ram until next elections in 2012. And it is significantly, how such lack of will and ability is still successful. However, Republican Party will soon have to prove that it has more to offer than mere criticism and backward thinking of anything that comes out. Saying no shouldn't be enough...
